Basic Info
Name:Sofia Asellio
Bio
Story so far....
Though an exact date isn't known, Sofia existed during the time of ancient Greece when the Gods were still in full worship and the world wasn't as old as it is now. As an Auloniad, Sofia served as a companion and friend to the god Pan for a majority of her long life. Until a short while ago, Sofia asked Pan to let her take leave of him and her sisters for a little while and he let her go, expecting her to return.

She started to travel the world, seeing the new changes and meeting new people. During one of her outings, she met an Immortal Roman ([info]the_horsemaster) who piqued her curiosity and quickly gained her companionship. Eventually Pan came seeking his wayward nymph only to find her lovers with the Roman. In a fit of jealousy, after realizing she would not leave her love to go back with him and that she had given her innocence to the Roman, Pan sought to punish her by banishing her from him as well as her sisters. He also restricted her powers to her lover's lands but eventually returned them.

Technically still an Auloniad, she does have the same power as before but now she stays on her husband's lands and travels with him.
Nymphs
Personifications of the more pleasant aspects of nature, nymphs were a kind of middle being between gods and men, communicating with both, loved and respected by both. They were gifted with the power to make themselves visible or invisible at will, they could perform many feats normally only possible to the gods, and they were always young, beautiful and happy, carefree and loving, but yet when they were entrusted with the care of a thing or person, as in the case of Ida and Althaea, who were charged with looking after the infant Zeus, they took this responsibility very seriously, showing the practical, able side of female nature.

The names of different species of nymphs varied according to their natural abodes. The Auloniad was a nymph who could be found in mountain pastures and vales, often in the company of Pan, the god of nature.
